At Marises Barn we serve breakfast around our farmhouse table at a time of your choosing between 08:00 and 09:30. The table is always laid with a selection of juices, dried and fresh fruits, yoghourts and cereals. We also offer a range of cooked items including local organic sausages and bacon and our own fresh eggs. Our dining room looks out onto the garden and also has a comfortable seating area where guests can read, play games or chat over a cup of tea or coffee.
We have three ground floor rooms and one on the first floor and can offer flexible accommodation as follows:- |

| First floor |
| This room can either be made up as a double with super king size bed or as twin room. It has a beautiful high, sloping, beamed ceiling. The room has an adjacent small sitting room and shower room. This is our quiet room and does not have a television, although we would be happy to make a DVD player available if wanted. |

| Ground floor double/twin |
| This room has a king size bed and an en-suite bathroom with corner bath. It has a small alcoved dressing area and connects with an adjacent single with en-suite shower. This room can be let on its own or, in combination with the single room, it is suitable for a family of three or for two friends travelling together who do not want to share a room. |

| Ground floor double |
This room has a feature original stone wall and beamed ceiling and has a lovely warm feel to it, enhanced by carefully chosen décor and some original photography. It has a private adjacent shower room. |

| Poetry courses |
| As a published poet Paul is happy to offer short courses to help people find a way into writing poetry and developing their own ‘voice’. These are offered over a weekend out of season. Please contact Paul for details. |

| Dinner party weekends |
| Why have all the effort of the cooking and the washing up when you could ask us to do it for you. Offered for small groups of 4 – 6 friends we will prepare a beautiful three course meal for you with a comfortable overnight stay and a hearty breakfast to send you on your way. |
